Addition Bingo Card Maker

K-12 teachers are nearly always on the look out for interesting methods that can be used as a means of practising addition. There are many options, but one option that many teachers are using in their classes is to introduce bingo. The way addition bingo is conducted is exactly like the standard game of bingo except that the bingo cards contain numbers which are the answers to the teacher's chosen addition questions rather than the ordinary bingo numbers. Each one of the students receives one of these cards, the teacher takes the part of bingo caller, but reading out addition questions instead of the bingo numbers, and thus you play the game until you get a winner. The winner is determined according to the usual rules of bingo, except of course numbers only count as crossed off if they have been marked off as a result of solving one of the addition problems.

The key thing that you will need to play addition bingo is to get hold of a set of bingo cards printed with the numbers which are the answers to the teacher's problems. You might think that this could be a major problem. Luckily you can print-out your own customised cards simply: your computer and a bingo card maker program. Just download then install the program on your computer, and you can print-out the bingo materials with just a few moments effort - it genuinely is that quick and easy.

To summarise, more and more school teachers are finding that the game of bingo can be of assistance with classroom math practise. It is an interesting activity, but also with educational value: so why don't you think about giving it a go?
